Guest Pinterest Board | Nancy Wallace of Wallace Gardens

Introducing this week's Guest Pinner for the

'Most Favorite Things' Pinterest board.

Nancy Wallace of Wallace Gardens is another Garden Enthusiast that I have connected with on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.  We have not yet met face to face, however, I have found myself pinning from Nancy's boards quite frequently over the past year.

Wallace Gardens is a recession-born business (2009), rising from the ashes of a Suwanee, Georgia garden store that Nancy co-founded in 2001.  The story of her business was featured twice on National Public Radio. Listen to the stories here: Part 1 and Part 2.

Currently, Nancy works creating onsite container garden and garden design / renovation services for clients that have been hers for over a decade, along with many new ones along the way.  With her love for conifers, japanese maples, viburnums, native flowering trees and peonies, Nancy often brings these elements into her renovations and container gardens. The seasonal interest and variety of texture and color allows her gardens to stand out from the rest.

Here is your chance to connect with Nancy and see what inspires her.

"Gardening is a lot like cooking: select good local ingredients and respect the basic rules of composition to insure the best possible results. A beautifully prepared meal lingers in the mind long after the cook has cleared the table, and a well planned landscape blossoms over time as the imprint of the designer unveils itself inconspicuously in the years that follow.  " ~ Nancy Wallace, Wallace Gardens
